Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA

This moody newcomer carries on the glamorous legacy of 1920s and 1930s Art Deco design inside the historic Morgan Adams Building on Wilshire Blvd. Art Deco designs feature stepped or radiating styles, often with a “streamlined” look, unusually varied. We captured our design inspiration by the historic, Art Deco charm of the exterior and interior of the building. The space was already so dramatic and elegant, that we knew we wanted to keep the details but design in a way that is complimentary using components such as symmetry, rich colors, bold geometry, decadent detailed work and unvaried repetition of elements.
